The diverse exhibition facilitated dynamic business negotiations and trade matching throughout the event.
Beyond Trade: Knowledge and Craftsmanship
JGAB 2026 included specialized programs like The Next Gem Contest and the ASEAN Jewellery and Gem Summit 2026, which highlighted emerging talent and industry trends. The event featured premium programming including The Gallery of Thai Silver, The Next Gem Contest, and the ASEAN Jewellery and Gem Summit 2026. These platforms facilitated knowledge exchange on market trends and innovations, significantly enhancing industry professionals’ capabilities and competitive positioning.
The overwhelming response from domestic and international participants highlights ASEAN’s growing prominence as a global jewellery and gemstone market hub. This year’s success reinforces Thailand’s unique ability to seamlessly blend local craftsmanship with modern innovation, while opening new perspectives on growth opportunities in high-potential markets, particularly China and emerging secondary cities.
Mr. Sanchai Noombunnam, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Thailand, noted that the event’s growth reflects confidence in ASEAN’s gemstone industry. “The continuous influx of international buyers reflects the global market’s confidence in ASEAN’s gemstone industry potential and Thailand’s role as a vital regional trade center,” he said. The organizers have already set plans for JGAB 2027, scheduled for May 17–20 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.
