JTV has helped open a new wish-planning space in Knoxville, Tennessee. The facility, known as The Wishing Place, is located on the JTV campus at 190 Hayfield Road. It serves as a new home for the local Make-A-Wish chapter, providing office space and hosting various events for families and donors.
A Space for Hope
The location includes the Level Up Lounge, a area designed for teenagers to relax and discuss their wishes. This space was supported by community sponsors Adam and Angela Brown. JTV also presented the chapter with two checks during a grand opening event on Sept. 3. The organization gave a total of $328,270 to support the chapter’s operations.
First Horizon Bank sponsored reserved parking spaces to welcome wish families. Internet service provider Brightspeed launched the Brightspeed Road to Wishes Fund to assist with travel costs. The Brightspeed Wish Story Studio gives families a dedicated area to capture and share their stories. Friendship Auto created the Puplick Relations Corner, a playful space celebrating the comfort that dogs bring to families.
“The Wishing Place gives hope a home in East Tennessee,” said Garrett Wagley, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish East Tennessee. “This space will allow children to wish out loud, families to feel welcomed and supported, and our community to see the power of a wish up close.”

Community Support and Reach
Wagley said the checks were a product of JTV’s national and local partnerships with Make-A-Wish. JTV established a national partnership with the foundation in April. The network will support the foundation through a series of “Give More Save More” fundraising events and customer engagement opportunities throughout the year.
“JTV is honored to help provide a home for The Wishing Place and to stand alongside Make-A-Wish East Tennessee in serving local children and families,” said Tolly Harris, executive vice president of JTV. “We believe deeply in the power of community and in creating moments of hope and joy.”
Make-A-Wish East Tennessee serves children with critical illnesses across a 36-county territory. The chapter has granted close to 2,000 wishes in its nearly 40 years of operation. It will grant 120 wishes in 2026, but more than 100 children are currently waiting for their wishes to come true.
