Vintage jewellery and watches will return to the heart of Vicenza from 4th to 7th September with VO Vintage, the B2C marketplace where a selection of leading Italian and international dealers specialising in vintage jewellery and collectable timepieces will gather in Hall 8.1 at Italian Exhibition Group’s Expo Centre. Held in conjunction with Vicenzaoro September, this expanding event combines market, knowledge and passion for an ever-wider and more discerning community. The format blends a curated selection of items with a strong cultural and experiential dimension, allowing visitors to purchase unique pieces while meeting specialists and engaging with a like-minded community.

The September edition features 52 dealers, including 29 Italian and international jewellery retailers and 23 specialist watch retailers. This represents a 25% increase in size compared to the January event, matching the variety of products enjoyed by visitors during the previous season. Matteo Pollini, Exhibition Manager at Italian Exhibition Group, notes that the growth reflects a shift in interest. “VO Vintage’s growth also reflects the younger generations’ interest in the world of vintage as they are increasingly drawn to the opportunity to discover and purchase items with a history, identity and value that can extend beyond the commercial sphere,” Pollini explains. “We blend passion, expertise and discovery, creating an environment where the public can approach collecting with greater awareness.”
Leading names returning to the fair include Zagari, the Neapolitan jewellers specialising in vintage signed jewellery and old-cut diamonds; E.L.A. Antichità from Bergamo, a veteran presence in the period and vintage jewellery sector; and the I Santi Medici art gallery in La Spezia, which deals in period pieces from aristocratic collections. Collectors focused on gemstones will find offerings from Italian Vintage Jewellery from Crema, a company founded by two gemmologists with international diamond experience. New participants include EL&L Finery from the Netherlands, run by Lisa Finkelman van der Plas, and Thomas Huijbrechts, also from the Netherlands.

Programme of Talks and Collecting Events
VO Vintage also asserts its identity through a programme of events. An integral part of the experience is its agenda of meetings, talks and in-depth sessions that offer the chance to gain a first-hand understanding of the history and craftsmanship of the objects.
