This festive season, IGM (India Gold Metaverse) has introduced RamMudra – Kuberdev ka Sona, a distinctive offering that links ancient rites with present-day technology. The launch is intended to restore a theological balance in the domestic bullion market, and it rests on the twin ideas that “Gold is Technology” and “Gold is Emotions.” By blending devotion with modern finance, the programme seeks to appeal to both traditional worshippers and contemporary investors.

According to scriptural tradition, any Dhanteras or Diwali observance remains incomplete without invoking the blessings of Lord Kuber. While Goddess Lakshmi grants prosperity to a household, it is the god of wealth who protects and multiplies that fortune, ensuring that blessings endure throughout the year.

RamMudra Concept

The idea of RamMudra is taken straight from the sacred lore of Tirupati. When Lord Balaji sought the hand of Goddess Padmavati, her father, King Akasha Raja, set a single extraordinary condition: the wedding must become the most lavish celebration ever recorded. This mythic demand shows the scale of devotion that the deity inspires among his followers.

To fund a celestial ceremony of that magnitude, the deity borrowed 14 lakh RamMudra gold coins from Lord Kuber, a princely sum valued at roughly Rs 21,000 crore in today’s market. Devotees maintain that he continues to repay this cosmic debt through the countless offerings presented by pilgrims at the temple each day. The ongoing ritual payments are viewed as a living reminder of the ancient pact.

Features and Availability

The limited-edition physical RamMudra coins are offered in seven weight categories: 1 g, 2 g, 5 g, 10 g, 20 g, 50 g and 100 g. Collectors may choose from five separate obverse designs that showcase Lord Kuber, the trio of Padmavati–Balaji–Lakshmi, the solitary figure of Goddess Lakshmi, a combination of Saraswati–Lakshmi–Ganesh, or the healer Lord Dhanvantari. Each engraving is crafted to highlight traditional iconography while meeting modern minting standards.

Anyone can begin a RamMudra digital-gold portfolio with as little as ₹10, or acquire heirloom-style physical coins through authorised partner jewellers, the IGM Mumbai office, the dedicated RamMudra mobile app, or directly online at www.rammudra.com. The multi-channel distribution model is designed to make both digital and tangible gold accessible to a wide audience across the country.
